## Membership Fee

One method of increasing revenue for the organization is to charge a membership fee to join the community. This can be a one-time fee or a recurring monthly/annual fee (a combination of both works best).

When a membership fee is charged, you need to provide benefits in addition to a standard forum/social network.

A membership fee might be included in the pricing structure for the product itself. This can be especially useful for web-based products, which already offer a variety of pricing structures.
